As hilarious as I may think that is, that could be a bad thing. The last thing any of us needs is AG trying to claim that they own that graphic since it's posted on their site in a post that existed before I had the graphic made. There could be some legal ramifications there. So feel free to make it something like a middle finger, but please change it from our logo.
ahhh.......true true true. point taken. ok if I just make a pic of a digital hand scribble that says "head over to XterraNation.org"?

HAHAHAHAHA!! This is gonna be awesome! The host provider I've used to host my images in TNX allows me to actually REPLACE one photo for another! The links stay the same...so wherever the image is linked...the new pic will show instead :D

On left is what it looks like over on TNX when I replaced the first pic shown. On right is how it looks here, which is how it used to look over ther

I can't wait to litter TNX with this! Bwahahahahha!

One minor thought about the whole "Lets replace our pics on TNX with middle finger/other garbage", it does make you look a bit immature. I would rather just change the link so the picture no longer works, than come across as a vindictive bugger when new people are just looking for help fixing something on their X, because if they see that on TNX, then hop onto this site also looking for fixes, it might give them a bad impression of XN.

Just food for thought.

I agree about pics and things. No need to be vindictive. AG may have totally ruined the place but as long as the site is up and running, it's still a good resource for info.

That said. Being able to change a photo in your own build thread that you "cannot edit" with the finger to AG is actually priceless.

Maybe I am missing it, but is there a way of changing the theme of the site? As a web dev that has done way to much work for various government organizations that are required by law to follow certain accessibility standards, I naturally cry internally when confronted with a lower-contrast site theme.

Also, the glare off my work monitor makes it a bit hard to read the posts. Not that I would be checking this site at work or anything...

Currently, this is the only theme we have installed. I've been working on some site upgrades that I should be able to bring live in the next few weeks. If it's a desired thing I can include a "light" theme as well. It won't look as good....but.....

Well, assuming you can modify the CSS (Haven't looked too much into Xenforo specifically, but I have a fair amount of HTML/CSS/PHP knowledge), even if you can throw something together quickly, I might be able to send you patches and clean it up real nice. It might even fix it to just adjust some of the colors on the current one, like making the main post text a bit lighter. I mean, even just changing the .messageText font-size to 10.5pt and the .message .messageContent color to rgb(220, 220, 220) makes it easier on the eyes.

Well, it's time to reset the long lost password and dust off this account. Hopefully the view of TNX burning down is good from here, because I'm seriously ticked about them taking all our content hostage - no ability to delete our account or delete posts and images we don't want the corporate overlords to own.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

We pretty much have a continual view of smoke and various "brown storms" from the Valley of AG. Down the hall, up the stairs to the 3rd level for the observation deck. Whiskey machine for that room is still on back order

I hear ya. But in all honesty I don't really care what other people think of me who may come across my pictures.

The pic is directing them to XN.... Telling them to come here, and to F autoguide. If they get butthurt by the meaning behind that picture... Are they really worthy of joining us? ;)

It's okay, you're Canadian. I know you people are super nice :)

Another option is to send a DMCA Takedown Notice to them if they are continuing to use content without the creator's permission. They can try to argue that it's in the TOS, but if the photo predates the TOS change and there's no method for the user to remove it, they will have a hard time with that approach.

You're right, hrm. I'll look at it later. It should be on both.

Hmm. It shows in landscape. So the site is treating it like signatures.
What'd be nice, is esp. on mobile, the scroll-to-top button remains visible at the bottom right regardless of where ya are on the page, or on the site Dunno if they make a plug-in for that or not.

Found the deck, nice chairs btw, but why's there a chain on the door for the 2nd floor? Oh, and carrying three cups of bourbon up those stairs is a chore. You almost run out of bourbon before you get there...

Just a note to all those migrants from TNX

As you probably know, this site is privately owned, and has no advertising. This means it takes $ to keep the lights on.

I urge you all to become supporting members.

If you can afford the $35. Please do. One of the first things I did. Let’s support the last place we’ve got that ain’t corporate BS.

They seem to be going through, but the automation for the supporter tags isn't working. If anyone has paid, wouldn't hurt to PM him.
