He was a great part of our X family. Missed him at NXM 3. Was hoping to see him at WENT.

Loved talking about food and cooking. He will be missed. Thoughts are with his family.

Oh wow, this is really sad. I spent a lot of time talking to him during the downtimes at NXM2, he was an amazingly nice guy and I was looking forward to things he wanted to do to his truck, he was always picking my brain about mods and bouncing ideas around. If someone with some details could pm what happened I would appreciate it

All I know is that it was sudden

Oh damn. I never met the man in person, though we conversed many times on the boards. Good guy. If anyone has contact with Gregg's family, please pass along my condolences. I'm sure that goes for everyone.

Wow. That really sucks. He was a great guy (and a phenomenal cook). I had really hoped to see him again this year. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting him. He will be missed for sure.

Wow :(

I don't even know what to say. Gregg and I conversed here and there, never met him in person but he (like so many other guys and gals here) just felt like somebody I had been good friends with all along. My heart is heavy to hear this sad news, and his family has my deepest condolences. Rest in peace, Gregg.

never met him for real, but he did answer several questions on here... Seemed like an awesome guy. My thoughts and prayer definitely go out to his family.

RIP, and may gobble bless

That is a shame. Like others I did not meet him in person, but I noticed his posts. For me to consciously recall a member of any forum, they have to make an impression on me at some point, and he did as a friendly type.

Gregg was a giver, not a taker.
He embodies what makes this forum great.
Happy Trails Gregg.

For all of the people that never got the chance to meet Gregg, well I can truly say that it is your loss. Our community is better for the time he spent with us, and a little colder without him here now. RIP brother all of the struggles are over you have earned some time of rest.

Awww, this makes me sad. He was my Secret Santa this past year. And always had uplifting flattering things to say when I was down in the dumps about being female and single. Gregg seemed to be a pretty awesome guy and I know I will at least miss his fun and witty posts. Best wishes to him over the rainbow bridge.

Man, this really does suck. I met him at NXM 2 and he seemed like a great guy. Very giving, I think he gave away a CB Radio and antenna. Sad to hear of his passing. Certainly praying for his family, the Xterra community has lost a great guy.

Never met Greg however his posts always interested me deeply. Full of creativity and strive. Asked many well researched detailed questions which no doubt gave back to the community. Never used pictures in his build but words to carry his thoughts, excitement and actions. RIP he will be missed.

I'll always smile when I see that ostrich staring me down.

I never met him...but when I read this thread...I was like...that is the quizzical ostrich guy!!!!

And from his photo above...he looks like he can cook some killer BBQ.

Sad time for sure. Wish I could have had the pleasure to know him better.

I am kinda lost for words. What I know about him is that everyone loved his cooking. He always was a positive energy on the forums. Hopefully his spirit will live on through this forum.
