Virginia, Maryland, DC area 2021 general plans for the season

Hey all! As the weather warms up this week, I'm ready to start planning offroading trips and shuffling them in with camping, fishing, etc. Do you guys have any set timeframes or any specific goals/places to aim for?

For example, here are some:
- @Pro-4K mentioned a "glamour" ride where we try and focus on getting some good photos and videos just for fun. But at what location?
- I'd like to do a camping/offroading trip to Flagpole, potentially Friday-Sunday.
- One trip where we practice using recovery gear and maybe doing scenarios, just so if it's needed one day on the trail, it isn't our first time.
- @TheCrabby1 wants to do a combo trip of Flagpole Knob and Peter's Mill Run same day

Locations:
- Peter's Mill Run
- Flagpole Knob
- Western Maryland offroad areas (new for me)
- Assateague Island beach/sand (new for me, and could be too expensive)
- Rapidan Wildlife Management Area (new for me)
- Long Run Road (new for me)

I'm down for any of the above. I like @Pro-4K's idea of getting some good footage from a run. It would be cool to get an aerial shot of all the lighting setups with the drone at some point (maybe atop Flagpole). I also want to get some more camping in this year.

Don't forget that there's Big Levels around Waynesboro, Va. Bottom is rocky and top is muddy.

Sweet! Where did you see that? They apparently haven't updated the Lee Ranger District webpages yet. I will plan to be there this weekend. My brother wants to try it out with his F150 and I think it'd be better if we did it early while the trail is a little smoother.

I think I need to make a burner account to keep up with this stuff and to use Marketplace.

We're going to take the new RTT out to either Elizabeth Furnace campground or Little Fort Campground (right at the north end of the trail) and ride PMR one or both days. I'll make a thread hopefully by tonight when we decide which day.

I forgot to post , but when I looked at their webpage at 6-6:30am it said closed.

So I said I'd make a thread, but as of now it looks like no-go this weekend. Thursday rain and Friday an inch of snow in the forecast for the low-lying areas. Followed by lows in the mid-20s again in the valley, so that means the trail will likely have a lot of ice and be dangerous. Hopefully it warms up soon!
