Under intake coolant lines.

I tried to find discussion about this to no avail. But can you do away with all the metal coolant lines under the intake, and run all rubber? Would it be advised, if so, to use some sort of conduit if you do? I ask because I bent one of the metal tubes, and didn't necessarily want to hunt one down.

I'm responding late to this, but I honestly wouldn't. You could, for sure, if they were insulated some how, but I think because of where they are, and what they come in contact with under there (heat, oil, etc) rubber wouldn't last and you'd be redoing that big old job again.
