Hey Ratt, just found out about a new place in Houston called Sugarhill ORP, I can't find them on a website yet...still at work but I have seen a few chats about it on some tacoma sites.

It is supposed to be an old golf course area around 12000 block of bisonnet.

Cool, I'll look into it.

In case someone asks, I didn't add Creekside Off-road due to their 95% mud and water park full of ATVs and drunkards.

Sugar Hill ORP looks a little meh from the videos I see on YouTube. Looks like just another gigantic mud hole with some hills to climb from the old golf course. But I'll take it, it's hard to find places to wheel in this flat land area. I'm down to give it a whirl once I get my CV boot fixed and new tires, should be next month.

I miss Spring Creek Off Road...

First Fill-Up (of many)
BVORR Brazos Valley Offroad Ranch- it's in Bryan off hwy47.

Here's a bonus:
If you show up on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month you can wheel with Tx4wd.org for FREE. you don't even have to join the club. Right now instead of the the 4th Sunday you can show up on that Saturday about 8pm and go night wheeling with us.

Mud,
Could you list the ones for TX?

The point of this thread, is to avoid the endless searching.

Catahoula OHV Park in Sicily Island, LA. Once I make a year and get some vacation time, I'm gonna make a trip to check it out. It's the only place in LA I know of that's not a complete mudhole.

The Bonne Carre Spillway is also open but it's either dry and dusty and full of ATV's/dirt bikes jumping artificial mounds in clouds of dust, or if it has rained recently, a mud hole full of drunks in diesel "my penis is tiny so I have 12" of lift and 40" Super Swamper" trucks. I hate the spillway. It's public land, so it's completely trashed and abused, but people lose their freaking minds when they can't "go muddin" because the Mississippi nears flood stage and the spillway has to be opened for its intended purpose, which is to keep New Orleans from flooding. Ingrates. Sucks, 'cuz it's only 45 minutes from where I live.

The Splendora one is 95% mud.

I'll add the rest. Been wanting to head out to Katemcy (K2).

MossyX over on thenewx Pm'ed me, I guess he went up to Cathoula OHV Park with a stock X and a manual come along. He said it was pretty fun. A lot of stuff he could not run. Which I could imagine because I've seen fully locked jeeps struggle on on a lot of the you tube videos.

Everett: I know what you said about Bonne Carre Spillway, But where is the entrance to it? I would like to take a trip there just to see it. Also I read that its only for ATV's and UTV's is this true?

Entrance to the Spillway is in LaPlace off of Highway 61 (Airline Hwy). It may only be open to ATV's/UTV's now; it was before I owned my 1st Xterra since the last time I've been there.
