So driving home yesterday my tire pressure light started blinking. Telling me there is a fault with one of the sensors in the tires. Is there a way to figure out what sensor is bad? I know they have a battery life. But not sure how long it is. These are the OEM ones from when I bought my truck back in 09

A decent scan tool should be able to tell you. Best best is going to a tire shop or the dealer.

Or you could just not worry about it. When I got new rims and tires I just had standard valve stems put on instead of the TPMS sensors.

getting posted to a new base this summer, and the truck will need to go through an inspection. they require that if the vehicle is equipped with TPMS that it must be functioning
