Toyota bottle jack - Adapting to Xterra jack tools?

Anyone else use a Toyota bottle jack? I have had one for a while (from a 1st Gen Tundra) and just picked up another one that's rated for more weight (from a 90's Land Cruiser). I like them because they're compact, and since they're not hydraulic, you can store them in any orientation and they won't leak. One drawback is that they don't use the same tools as our Xterra factory jack, they just use a rod with a simple hook to twist them to raise and lower.

I could never figure out how best to adapt them to our factory jack tools, but I think something like this is going to work. This was to be a quick prototype but believe it or not it works well enough I might just end up using something like this.

It's just a bit of PVC pipe with exactly the right I.D. Couple holes for a bolt, hole and a slot for the Xterra tool, and that's it.

I was going to try for something in steel, but this works well enough I might just get a different bolt (with longer shank so the threads don't bind on the loop) and re-do the slot I messed up and call it good.
