Torsion Bars

[Gen X]

I have the AC heavy duty bars I picked up from Rhaas. One has an RH on it, I assume that means it goes on the right, passenger side? On one end of each is stamped an R and L, I assume also to distinguish right from left. Where does the marked end get installed. Doescthe marked end go into the front anchor on the LCA or in the rear anchor on the cross member?

Well...I guessed. Put the marks to the rear. There was also an arrow stamped next to the mark. With the mark at the rear, the arrow pointed in the direction the bars are twisted when the rear anchors are tightened. Hope I'm right.

It seems I guessed wrong. Should have thought of this before. I called 4x4 parts to ask. They said the stamp should be in the front. Great! I've got them in backwards.Guess I'll postpone the alignment and switch them around. And of course it's raining now so can't do it today.
