I mounted my jack Drake-style the other day - twice as cool at half the price as the hi-lift purpose-built mounts. Hopefully he'll make it over here soon.

I'm thinking of going custom. Most sets are going to be between $400 and $500 by the time you factor in shipping. Unless I find a good deal on a used set somewhere.

New gadgets are always fun. I want to get a headunit with bluetooth one day; much cooler than using a cable like I do now.

That's one of the reasons I got a new one. My old alpine didn't have bt and the tuner sucked. This one was reasonable, $150 and it has all the bells and whistles even has built in hd radio.

Nice Tim, I like the radio. I would love to get sliders too but my Tax money is already spoken for. Taking to trip to NY for X-mas time next year! I'm Gonna have SASXA help me fab some sliders up maybe. Ever since I played with all the bluetooth junk at bestbuy I would love one now haha.

Thanks. I thought about fabbing them up but honestly I may just go with the teail gear ones. They are pretty cheap and I've heard good things about them. Yeah the bt is nice for calls and pandora...

I have "Wired Bluetooth" right now haha, I have one of those cassette tapes with the wire to play MP3 through my Aux. One of these days I'll come out of the stone age... I saw the TG sliders as well too. There's also RR and ORPP's I think have affordable. SO MANY OPTIONS!

Well as some of you know the time has come to say goodbye to my X. She has trated me well and we've been through a lot together. She blew a head gasket and I couldn't justify sinking 2k in to her with 144k on the odometer. I hated to see her go but it had to be done.
That being said I did her right and replaced her with a black 2006 SE. The only drawback is its a 2wd bit I am still happy to be in an x. Eventually I will get back to a 4wd but I am super happy with this one. I have plans in the works and the mod bug is already biting at me...lol

Welcome to the world of 2wd! Just lock it and you'll be fine. Sorry to hear about the 1st gen, but you'll love the power after coming off the 3.3.
If you're an AT, save yourself some future headache and see if the radiator has been bypassed and convert over to Matic S
