Ugh. So my schedule has me off Tuesday/Wed, and my daughter brought home what we think is a norovirus Friday night. I'm pretty sure I currently have it, as I feel like caca. Joy....

While I think what you both have or have had really sucks and I'm sorry for both of you, they aren't the same. Norovirus is a nasty little bastard that basically causes "food poisoning" i.e. vomiting and diarrhea, and can manifest itself in one to two days, and is usually gone in 3 or 4 but can also land your ass in the hospital.... the "Rona" as Kirk knows all to well is a respiratory virus.

Morning all. Fever is gone, stomach is much better this morning.

As far as what I had, there's something that swept through my kiddos preschool last week. Pretty much everyone caught it. Daughter started complaining of a stomach ache Friday night, then started throwing up.

Saturday, she had diarrhea. Then Monday, my wife started experiencing symptoms (no vomiting, fortunately). Then I had symptoms yesterday. Each person had them for no more than a day.

We've been SO careful regarding covid. Both my wife and I are in the high risk pool if we get it, due to some underlying health issues, we were initially worried my daughter may have brought it home, but fortunately, that's not what it was.
