I don't think this has been confirmed yet. The Dan Patrick Show report this morning has been getting hit with multiple conflicting reports. In particular, several B1G reporters close to their respective schools have said that the "vote" that occurred was not between presidents/ADs. Rather, the "vote" came from a conference call between the schools and state representatives. Of those representatives, 10/12 said they would not based on their state's Covid response.

This is counter to the report this morning from Detroit Free Press. There is still ongoing speculation.

I wouldn't hold my breath, but I also wait til the fat lady sings.

So I went back out and gave this ole guy a 500$ deposit, via check, for that old F'n truck. I'm a dumbass I think.

He's had it a couple months, bought it for parts but says it was too complete to part. Supposedly it ran when the original owner parked it 8 years ago. Yeah, 8yrs.

The smog pump is missing and everything after '82 in CO must pass emissions, even if I reg it as a collector.. I don't know enough about these engines, SBC 350, to know if anything else is missing like vac lines, etc. The 205 xfer case is covered in oil and the passenger cab corner is rusted but not thru the cab. The front bumper is shot but.. the frame looks straight, d60 looks good, corporate 14 looks good. Surface rust but only a small few inch section of bad rust at top of rear wheel well on one side and the bed has a small hit/dmg at the very back corner but didn't get bumper..

Should I pay $3750 for this thing. It's been on my bucket list since my dad sold it and even more since he passed but... I don't want a non stop headache trying to get this thing street worthy.

Is there any value left if I pay what he wants? He won't budge on the price.. "it is what it is and I've got time and space"

Pulled the trigger on a Hardcore Offroad tire carrier bumper today. :D Talked to Kory yesterday at Hardcore , said around 5 week's out including powder coat . They didn't have an X around to measure underneath for a winch/bracket so I'll let someone local figure it out ; if it's in the card's !!

It’s 20:41 and still 100 here. Had a daily high of 115. It’s starting to be a bit cooler. But it could be just a short cold snap. I am expecting it to climb back up to the 130’s soon

Seems steep for a non runner? But man I like those a lot. Short bed? Dually?

could be a money maker if you have the time and work. But it would be too rich for my blood.

Morning. The wife sent me a package 7 weeks ago. Finally came in ( Canadian mail services suck for my location) people would just not bring the mail on the flights. But at least I got it now. And we now have so much coffee. Should last us about a month without needed to buy more.

We always keep a stash of rhubarb in our freezer for such emergencies as this. Wife's parents grow a bunch of it. Pie and/or crisp any time we get the hankering for it.

It's hard to find a good in-store replacement, it just isn't as good.
