I think the noise from it catching wind [ which would b worse in head-on windy condition's] and the downward spiraling of your MPG from catching all the extra air should b something to consider. It's all personal taste

Going all in. Sold my small gas chainsaw Saturday. Home Depot still had the "buy 3, save $100" signage up and honored it. Pole saw was on clearance for $30 off advertised price as well.

I really like the one I have for my gas trimmer. I rarely use the hedge trimmer attachment or edger so I opted for the pol saw first. Gonna play with it all this evening after work. Try to get trimmed up around the house and get rid of some limbs that are hanging low enough to make mowing around the trees a pain.
