i think me and my day driver have a pretty good working relationship. we both clean up after ourselves, we let each other know if we are running late and if we see something on the truck, we say something. also since he's a day guy, when the tractor or trailer need to go in for service, he swaps out to the spare and i swap it back when its done.

but yeah ufcking Ryder messed up again. my boss and myself werent too happy that i had to go in and have the brakes adjusted. only takes 20 minutes but come on.. at least they fixed the low fuel pressure problem......... for now.

Finishing up breakfast on the clock. Waiting for whatever mundane happening production is having a fit about today that'll keep us from doing the PM work that's months overdue.

Around 15 minutes before we start boarding this damn thing. There is a couple here that has a set of 6 month old twins. They are going to have a long 4 hour flight

I flew with my oldest when he was 6 months. But I’ve never flown with twins. At least with a single you can hand it off to the other half for a little bit but with twins you both have one

That's good. Our shift workers share a single buggy. 8 guys, most are slobs and there's a couple that routinely leave $5k communicators and pumpers laying where they used them last. I have a small collection of their hand tools in my box I've found in my area over the years...

Yeah, we didn't have twins but my youngest two are 17mo apart. Two in diapers, strollers, and basically helpless can get frustrating.

That was a tough December for us. Transmission went out in the wife's WJ, it was down two weeks for that. Had it back two days and totaled it on ice. Then found out two days later Julie was pregnant... We're sat in the hallway and cried in each other's arms for a few minutes, then pulled ourselves together and moved on with life. It's scary but you just do what you have to and keep kicking ass...

The last time my wife was pregnant it about killed her. If she would have had that baby we would have had a 14, 12, 5, and 2 year old. To say the least we are done having kids.

Ehhh trucks are holding their value. All the tacos I’m looking at are still over 20k and they are 2010-2012.
