Whats the matter with your truck?
Just the age and millage is starting to show. Brakes need tuning, running hot on the highway still, and oh yea p0134 Code that I have been ignoring.

Shes kinda took a back burner since I have been going every weekend working on stuff around the house trying to get my basment finished and my yard looking kinda good lol.

Like the new site though, and deff the logo. Change is good!

Yea thats been in there since I rebuilt from the blown headgasket. I think its the Tstat. Its weird it only runs hot at highway speeds.
yeah that could be it too, not opening all the way.
have you squeezed the the upper rad hose when it gets to temperature?

yea? not in a while but It didnt seem too firm
dead cold and before the thermostat opens the hose should have decent amount of give.
operating temp where the thermostat should be fully open the hose should have very little to no give and when you bump the revs up you should feel the pressure increase in the hose.

and the advanced test would be to take the thing out and put it in a pot of boil water to see how far it opens.

I though that would only effect it at low speeds

my bad that wasnt meant for you, it was meant for jim lol
Lol. OK. Now I follow. The clutch should spin. But tightly. If you can chuck the fan and it keeps spinning more than a ¼ rotation, that means when you're at speed, the fan is slipping too much.
