I finally found a free download for my old editing software. I was able to make this picture a little more like I would have wanted it.

Thanks, the tires really should be the first mod. They make the Xterra a different truck.

now get out in your driveway without your wife noticing, get that rear sway bar taken off, (it'll take you MAYBE 5 minutes), keep everything handy and you can reattach it for LONG road trips or going places with lots of twisty turny corners if you feel the need....

^^^ or just undo the sway bar before you go off road. its two bolts.

ehh....I've gotta say, if you're gonna do that, you have to pull your whole swaybar off to go wheeling, the rear one runs a risk of flopping down on a trail, and if you have to reverse, you're going to end up with some rather ugly damage. Beyond that, unhooking the sway bar on unlevel ground isn't exactly easy is it?

I hate to driveway shot it, but I was excited to play with a picture of my new sliders and came up with a cool new way to use my photo editing program. Check out the Xterra decal on my roof rail.

When MississippiGal and I tell folks we are headed out to count butterflies for the North American Butterfly Association, most people either shake their heads or laugh... I guess they don't realize it means a day of driving some pretty fun, restricted access "roads." We had a great day counting butterflies today :)

To load pictures you have to upload them to a hosting site like photobucket (you don't have to use photobucket) Then you have to just copy and past the photo img into your post.
