Ha! Have you priced vehicles recently? The mileage was the only thing that drove the price down. Decent condition / similar spec is $15k. With half the mileage.
She'll probably get some boring gray box (which is all that exists around here) with all wheel drive and a ton of new safety stuff. I told her I want to be in on selecting a new vehicle as my kids have to ride around in it.

Can’t say we didn’t need the rain or we would have had to water the grass. And it’s cold enough at night I need a blanket but not so cold as to close the windows
. Seem to have lost my ice scraper too (about 25 years ago). Enjoy Colorado, it’s a dry cold!(the best part of that weather report was “67 degrees, feels like 67 degrees)

Well if you ever find your way out here I’ll fix you up with a proper white pineapple and some non-imported poke and kalua pig. Also have local beers and rums but don’t know anyone making whiskey. I was lucky enough to live the first 40 years of my life in Colorado. It is so beautiful that there aren’t many places nicer to move to (sorry Texterras) plus somehow I developed a career in volcanoes, so heck.
