Another weekend of racing shiat boxes completed. The stupid Grand Cherokee held together again and got 1st out of 12 vehicle. Had my son riding with me this time and he loved it. So much fun.

just got a call from the wife, sounds like my one daughter fell off some monkey bars at school and hurt her arm pretty good. they are now sitting at the emerge waiting for x Rays to see if it's broken. if it's not one thing it's another with these kids

Wife sent me a text stating that she isnt a xray tech or radiologist but she could see a white line where there shouldn't be one. Just waiting for the doc to take a look and decide whats the best plan.

My son did a green stick fracture on his arm on a trampoline 2 summers ago. Always feel bad when the kids get hurt.

So Lainey is getting sedated for them to reduce the fracture then casted this evening. Will need to go to a fracture clinic on the next couple days and hope they reduced the fracture properly.

So got confirmation of what bone is broken. not the one i thought. ( thats a good thing). They gave her some Ketamine to sedate her so she going to be one sleepy kid when she gets home

I did that when I was 14. Green sticked both bones in my forearm crashing a 3 wheeling into a tree at 40 mph. I probably would have broke my jaw if I wasn't wearing my buddies full helmet. I cracked the lower part of the helmet on the handlebars, and bent the rear axle.
I just thought it was sprained since it only hurt in certain positions, so I just put in in a brace and went about my business. I finally went to the doctor about 3 weeks later.
They said they could straighten it, but they'd have to break them again.
They're still bent 26 years later.

Maaaaaan. I was all dead set on ditching the whole Android Radio thing in the truck. I forgot about adding a 360º camera system. And how useful that would be. Both on-road and off. Now they have units with native Android Auto....though do you need it because these new head units are so much faster and you can just run all the shiat on it. And price wise I can get everything including the 360º camera system, new dash cam (that records to the head unit) and ertang for about $400. That's the cheapest of these Pioneer's used on eBay. A new name brand radio is like $700.

Im running a mixture of AA and native on mine. I dont have good wifi at the garage to sync Spotify, and theres a few communication things that just work better on the phone. But I run my nav software native as it just works better.
I wish there were official vendors that sold native units, there is much more potential, and they arent as likely to be junk for support. My Punpkin randomly loses touchscreen, and both the AA adapters they sent me were garbage and didn't even include the necessary software. Also they only responded to my support request for said software after I did a chargeback via PayPal.
Another note is to be careful of the Android version they claim to run, there are a bunch that are actually an older version of Android, they just changed the string in the settings page.
All that being said, Id probably buy another one, because I do like the customizations and potential. And the price...

The URL is confusing because they have a grid of all the different options. But the top spec one (8GB RAM, 128GB ROM) is like $250. 360º camera kit is like $60 on top of that. And then the cameras for the DVR are another $30. AA is built in (wired and wireless).
My Pumpkin crashes like once a week. (but the bluetooth keeps playing while the unit reboots, which is dumb). And it takes like 15 minutes to boot. etc.
My main sticking point is the advancement of the technology. If I do a Pioneer radio, I get the AA but that's it. Nothing more advanced than what I have. Just more reliability, quicker boot times, and potentially a better audio suite.
Honestly, the 360º camera thing is pretty compelling. And I want to do heated mirrors anyway, so I can just do that hole work on the bench since I have to fish wires through the door grommet to do that.
