Thinking about ordering a budget AAL for the frontier. I don't really want to spend a lot of money on it, knowing full well that I'll probably upgrade the leafs in a year or two. Wanna get your guys thoughts on it.

Also, trailer is getting taken to the dump, and emptied out this weekend, then, when I get back from my trip next weekend, will be stripped down, and lumber purchased to start the build!

I've got a single Deaver AAL sitting in the garage. Brand new. Just saying.

Sooo unpopular opinion. Rewatching John wick 2. He refused the marker that got him out. By the rules, he deserved to have his house burned and attempted to be killed.

I thought that same thing. He presented the marker. You are a man of your word. Your work requires things you dont like, shut up, do your job.

Plot twist, maybe since his wife died he didnt really want to be retired anymore anyway.

One of the no drill mounts that uses the 3rd brake light as a mounting point?
The issue is am running into is the space i have between the headache rack and the :rd brake light. Contemplating making a bracket that attaches onto the A pillar lights but don't know if i will like the antenna there

Need ideas for CB and GMRS Antenna mount for my truck. still haven’t decided if I want to drill into the headache rack

I use a no drill lip mounts on the lip of my hood for my ham antenna. You could do the same on the back hatch for a cb antenna.

If i still had an X that option could work. But this is for my Silverado. And with the tonneau cover and the headache rack i cant use the normal brackets or mounts. And i don't really want to drill into the headache rack

If your Headache rack has expanded metal backing?.
bolt on a Angle iron with hole drilled to meet the needs of antenna. Or some kind of clamp, plus make sure you got a good grounding.

Those mounts wont work but i think i can fab an attachment for my a pillar light mounts that will allow me to moubt a cb antenna in a similar place
I use magnetic mounts for my gmrs antennas for both my X and my Frontier. Haven't had an issue yet.

As far as cb, fabbing a mount should work, as long as it's grounded well.
