Finally got to a scale today and my X weighs 5,520 lbs. That was with a full tank of gas but no RTT (147 lbs). We had one cooler with us but probably have another 100+ lbs of camping gear with us at full load out.

I happen to like those cheese balls....

Also, got the word from the mechanic. Ball joints, tie rods and shocks are all fine. Both front wheel bearings needed to be repacked/replaced. 450 for both sides is easily worth not having to do it myself this time. Especially seeing how my wife wanted to drive this trip, and we were going to take both Gamora and Nebula, and the shop can make that happen.

This should be in the vent thread but I'll be back with some ufcked up picks when the sun comes up tomorrow of what the first guy I had help me with my bumper did when he set up my wench and tore up my grill..

Yeah, along with not running my diff breather where he was supposed to and capping it off he also cut up my grill to mount the control box up front so the wind could keep my dust cap off whenever I hit hwy speeds. Granted I told him I'd never had a wench and to set it up like he would/had on other rigs. He runs an off road shop in the foothills ..

Honestly, aside from relocating the control box, that's pretty standard. There's no room in our "hidden" winch bumpers

That moment your AC dies in the work truck, and your boss laughs at you while you’re boiling alive in the cabin. So you say ufck it and just take it to the dealership. I’ll ask forgiveness later.

There's going to be a table there normally, right? So you won't hit your head.
Table usually stays pushed close to the wall because the dining room is central to moving around in the house. Probably won't be a huge issue most of the time. But I hit myself 3 times this evening working on the buffet.
