Need Bigger Tires
I light my coals, prep the food while the coals get ready, close up the grill long enough to get the grates warm, brush them, then cook. Never owned a propane grill and don't see myself switching.

Only got 4 charcoal grills and two charcoal/wood smokers at the moment.
One advantage to propane is that we can still use them here during a fireban. Gas is ok, charcoal is out. Likely mostly due to too many idiots not paying attention to fire... but what can you do.

A couple summers ago it was so dry and hot ( extreme fire warning) any type of open flame was banned. Including charcoal. Only type of bbq you could use was propane or natural gas. It was so hot and dry that we couldn’t shoot standard ball ammo at work cause the risk of fire was so high

We started Fire Season already, If fire can be turned off with a switch.. It's okay. Charcoal = Bad bad Ju JU!!!. Idiots will set up grill over dry grass, or dump the coals in brush after grilling.. POOF fire!!. Stupid humans. Good thing, Xterra is stocked with 2 Fire Extinguishers. & Long hand shovel & Pic ax..

Luck would have it, Deep Dark Coast range is still open. With the large amounts of rain Last night. We will have a 400 Yard Clanger for plinking at. Coal, meat, beer & Large fire.. CAMP!. With ANTI-China Virus Fluids to be Drank hourly.. BIGFOOT Denied Good Whiskey!!. He/she stinks!!

It was honestly too hot to day drink today. But I made up for it this evening....

Spent some time in the pool with the little two. The oldest went with her momma and got her first dose of the vaccine. Guess Pfizer owns us now.... lol

Male sure you get photoelectric and not ionization. They cost more but will actually pick all types of smoke much better and may save your lives. Fire departments have done youtube videos of ionization smokes not going off when burning anything that puts off black smoke. Which is most things in houses these days.
