Kayaking today. I have a Pelican Catch 120 angler, and the seat strap broke last year. I call Pelican because the $7 strap is $15 shipping and ask if they can cut me a break on shipping even though it’s out of warranty. They said “we have you covered” and sent me an entire $150 deluxe seat instead of the $7 strap. Awesome, right? Today, maybe the 3rd or 4th trip in the new seat… the nylon buckle for the strap gives, breaking the same on the opposite side, sending me straight backward mid stroke. Good times. I’m gonna over-engineer my own strap over the next week/weekend. It won’t be adjustable, but at least I can count on it.

Years ago, I was with my son purchasing ammo, and the lady at the register said having guns around children is dangerous. I told her tampons can give you toxic shock, but y’all hand them to your teenage girls by the truckload.
You should have said to her " Condom's prevent mini-van's " ......then " what do you drive ?? "

Thats the most moronic thing I have ever heard. you know what helps make adults responsible around firearms?

Growing up as kids who were taught to be responsible around firearms. I fully believe that.

Forgot to add
The shark I caught on the bulkhead at the house.
The half fish in the cooler was hit by a cuda while reeling in to the boat.
The pic of the coral on the bottom was in 30-35ft of water.
My dad is growing piney-apple's , at least he don't put them on pizza. Lol
We think that lobster behind Odo thought it was it's mate !! You don't wanna see those pic's , it was messy o_O
And yes the grilled yellow tail snapper were delicious as were the chunk's of Rainbow runner's .

I was very happy with the way Odo ran to & fro to Cudjoe Key MM.21 from Burtonsville Md . The motor has about 18K more mile's then the odometer say's since it's not original. I will say it's not the most comfortable vehicle out there for any length of time driving but the gel packed seat cushion was really nice , I might see if that company make's one for the back of the seat. My MPG just SUCKED but since the majority of driving was done at 80+MPH I can't really complain :D Lol20210503_182018.jpg
Trip meter is from here to there and back .

So. I had a follow up appointment at the hospital today. And a stress test.

I'm basically a heart attack waiting to happen.

Meeting with the cardiologist tomorrow.
I was wondering about updates. What are they saying? Diet? Exercise? Pills?

Hope it all works out well for you. I’ve been a regular at the cardiologist since 38 and it’s not fun, but if you need something done sometimes it’s better to get it out of the way when you can recover a lot easier.
But you've been walking and crap.
I’m not a doctor, but this can actually trigger heart issues. If you have clots or clogs or any such stuff, sudden onset of exercise can move them and set it off.

That's what I was told. If I had stayed on my fat ass I wouldn't be here right now.

My positive note is that they didn't find anything that was bad enough for them to keep me in the hospital tonight. So it can't be that bad.
Dude, we need to hang out. I hope all goes well and exercise helps the body and soul. Clots can be managed. Well, you know, if they're not in your head or your heart or lungs. You're doing the right things.
