Camping was nice over the weekend, good weather, food and friends. Getting out there was another thing altogether. Made it 30 min out of town and grenaded the manual trans in the xterra. Fairly sure it was low on oil as I didnt check it this time when I pulled it out of winter storage. And the trans was to hot to touch. So went home with the ambulance to get the car trailer, got the xterra loaded up around 10pm. Stared heading back home and blew a tire on the car trailer. Was a bit pissed by now so said ufck it and drug it to my wifes cousins house as they had space and was 45 min closer than my home. Dropped the trailer at 11 pm and hit the road again for camp and pulled in at 1am. Rest of the weekend was great.

That's some crazy stuff! I'd guess though that the cold beer and great food was quite a bit better seeing as you REALLY had to want it/work for it. Great story for later made even better if you do a tranny transplant from a victim that's been dead for 25 years. Good luck!

I worked at Lowes for 10 years as a YOOT.

Those contractors ufckED those bathrooms up. I HATED getting bathroom dooty. Horrible.

And it's official, we're never getting solar through Tesla again. The entire process of transferring them to the buyers is painful, slow, and overly aggravating. Under Solar City, we were sold on it being an 'easy' process.

Are the 2nd gen Automatics just confused as heck when you tow with them? Or just mine?

It's the only thing I am sad about with the Fronty is that it's an auto.

Part of the kitchen Reno’s was to be able to have a nice display cabinet for the liquor above the coffee area. Except with COVID and the amount of people renovating kitchens here that cabinet is still out of stock with no estimated timelines to get more

If I'm pulling my trailer and get on the interstate after everything is good and warm (drove 10-15 miles at speeds under 50) and go to speed up to merge with traffic it will shift from First to Third just fine. Except that's where it stops. I can let completely off the throttle and it will actually slow the truck down and will still stay in third. Even downhill with zero throttle pedal applied.

I have tried pulling it back into third and back to drive and it just stays in third. Cluster shows the correct position. If I cycle the overdrive button a few times it will shift to third finally.

And without a trailer it doesn't do it.

On the liquor or the furnishing? I hope you didn't notice that the Flor de Cana bottle is empty. I don't drink very much but that twelve-year-old Nicaraguan rum is delightful.

That doesn't sound normal. I know my wife's Pathy hates shifting when towing but definitely goes past 3rd.

I love watching hockey! I dont know sports trivia and stuff, I just enjoy watching it live.
