The way I did my carbon steel pan turned out perfect. Skins of two peeled potatoes, half cup of oil, half cup of salt, and constantly stir over medium heat for 15 minutes. Dump it, let it cool, wipe it out with a towel, then repeat.

Part of that had to do with removing the waxy coating too though, but the pan turned out perfect.

Nice! I'll give that a shot the next time I have to redo a pan. This is a little big and almost fills my 22 kettle.

Dude.. Have you not been to Lucille's?! OMMFG

If you don't order a famous bloody mary to go with them..and after them, you are a commie bastard.

If you're near Boulder in thie breakfast/brunch hours it's a must do.

Trail ride meet up for breakfast, hit some trails, have lunch and beers on trail then hit Foolish Craigs for late afternoon omelettes and crepes.. I think they're both on Dives, Diners & Drive-ins.

I haven't. But it looks like I need to. Once eating in public is a thing again.

This is untrue. Spacers are required to clear the calipers

That's what I recall as well. The calipers are just too big for the 15s.

It appears the 4cyl fronty had 15s available. And different calipers between 4&6cyl. So 4cyl must be smaller.
So after looking up tire sizes, I'm thinking since I've wanted some steelies, & I sorta like the look of the 33x12.5/15s, with 2" spacers so talk to me you guys on why I shouldn't trade this guy my 5 stock 16" rims and Big O'Tire "Linglong" A/Ts with only ~6k miles for his 5 steelies and half life AT3s..

Nothing wrong with that. The Japanese food and drink culture is unique and delicious.
Ma spent her entire childhood there but here there weren't many speakers so she's lost the language..and the cooking skilz. I'd really dig going on an adventure checking out a number of provinces over there but after hanging out with my older brother, who's a world traveler, there's so much to see here in our own backyard, the US, I don't see myself leaving the country again. I loved my MXn travels and I feel CA is pretty much the same as us, eh..

For one thing, you'll have to cut your fenders to clear them. Since we can run a 285/75/16 without trimming, I'd sell my Linglongs and buy some 285s and not cut to run a 33.

I get liking the look of the taller sidewall. But a 285 is gonna be a lighter set up which will have better braking and acceleration as well.

Well, my plan was the wear out the Linglongs and go to 285s.
I just happened to see this offer and liked the look.

Trade him for what?
Sorry. Just waking up.

If you're going to trim the fenders, it should be for a body lift and 35s. Otherwise, don't bother.

Also, Linglongs!? That's what was on my truck when I bought it. Serious street tires. No tread. Hard as rocks. I wheeled them at ECXC one year. Tore a sidewall on the first trail on the first day.

The other three stayed till I got my Titan wheels and 35s.

Those of you who that have second gens.... I know mechanically the frontier and X is the same. SMOD issues shouldn't be a concern with a 2013, right? Check valve covers, etc. Anything else I need to be on the lookout for that would be a major red flag before having it independently inspected?

Front t-case output. I've seen a couple of those damaged now. Rear wheel seals. If the breather stops up it blows them out and that's a hassle to deal with. Heater tees on the firewall get brittle, not a major concern but you might get a discount or them fixed before you buy.

That about covers it. The late 10s and up are pretty bulletproof.

Thanks Terry. Is there a way to check the seals just by looking at them?

I'll be doing the breather extension as soon as I get it.

That's what I figured.

2013 Frontier pro-4x. Black, with pretty much every option they offered. Leather, heated seats, Rockford stereo, roof rack, sunroof, etc. 70k on the clock.
