Both gas cans full, plenty of propane, and already test fired both generators this season. Need to sell the small generator but "2 is 1, 1 is none" is what keeps me from doing that just yet.....
Last time I fired up my Generac [oct] it took about 40 pull's and then when I put a load on it , it stalled out:cool: Then I forgot to take it in for service  I was probably having too much fun with Odo:D At least we gotta fireplace and plenty of wood if we do lose electric. And they say the mind is the second thing to go:eek:

Plenty of propane
And one is none !!

Still had power so I went on in to work. Different reports from different parts of the county. I had ice covered in snow and it was actively sleeting. Pretty easy drive to work. Played in 2wd with the locker on a bit.

Now to see how the day plays out. Already told my boss not to call me unless the boiler is gonna blow, and if the boiler is gonna blow, don't expect me to show up.....

Just rain on the roads here at the North Carolina line. My steps and deck were ice as were windshields but the roads were ok.

This might be option for a few.. and Most people will not steal or able to run one.. unless they have a PTO tractor handy.

Cell phones are coming back to life.. talk about Grumpy People. who had no land line, and Strictly Cell phone. They were like lost sheep.. trying to text, shaking the phone.. holding it up in the air.. Was just flat out fun to watch them struggle.

I suspect a $9 bottle of this would solve most peoples problems. Though, I prefer the marine version.

Ran Two Swiss Jerry Cans this week-end for the Generator.. I placed Flagging tape and a date, One was Nov 2013 other can was 2016. Did not add any additives to the cans. The fuel ran fine, no issues in the Generator. Could be the storage container? But Running E-Free gas. Not that station with all the Snowflakes stuff mixed in. Tends to Gunk up small engines.

Love those Swiss Cans.. Tough and secure.

I always run Sta-bil in my fuels and use the non-ethanol fuels in my small engine stuff. I was given a lawn tractor once that wouldn't run and the fuel line from the tank to the pump was just a solid mass of crud where the ethanol fuels had broken down and solidified.

Knock on wood, I haven't had any issues so far.

Also the ethanol pulls moisture out of the air. Before I had a station with Efree I had to pull the carb and gas tank on my push mover every year to clean water drops out of it.

If they told you it was a ufcked up mess, they'd have to admit it's a ufcked up mess....
Was told that all of the annual Personel evaluations where completed and I didn’t need to do a thing since I’ve only worked with these people for a total of 1 day so far. Guess what. I drafted 3 of them yesterday due today

I ve been there twice. First time left a pretty bad impression jerks cutting me off at the pumps and such. Second time spent a week in San Antonio and really enjoyed it.
I too have been twice. The first time @kirk tried to kill me with a Camaro. The cheese fries were good tho.

This trip was an unmitigated disaster. ufcking asshole drivers following too closely and blocking me from getting out of a sudden dangerous lane, whatever county Austin is in can't spell "snow plow," I saw 4 distinct times where people almost buried in the K-Rail because they were trying to drive in a lane that was unplowed or flooring it on an iced over underpass. Last night all of I35 was covered in black ice. It has not been a fun excursion. Still about an hour and half from home. Will be glad to get there.

Not an excuse. That far south has no idea what happens below 40. Hell, aside from the panhandle, more than one day of ice is an oddity. Snow in my area is like a 25 year event. This was a 100 year event.

Hey @kirk and @Muadeeb. ufck your state. Assholes and idiots. And it smells.

No. Our state (other than Austin) is a magic (okay Lubbock/Odessa is ugly too) wonderland of firearms and freedoms.

That smell, that you smell is (hipster weirdos in Austin) freedom and 85mph speedlimits.

Bask in it.

Hell I didn't know you were in town.

I did try to kill you, but ashamedly was unsuccessful. Was good to meet you. beer and fries on me next trip.

Also, true Texans know, I-35 is satans Taint. That roadway is nightmarish on a GOOD day.

Drove down to rescue the wife from Austin. She was supposed to be there 3 days. Cancelled flights meant she'd be stuck almost 10 days.

Things I learned about Texas in the last 36 hours.

1)The speed limit everywhere is 75. But no one goes that speed. I was driving 80 and flying past people.

2) All ¾ ton and up pickup trucks are required by law to have diamond plate front bumpers

3) everything smells like cow shiat

4) Whataburger is so great that even if no one has power, and there's an inch of ice on the ground, the line is around the block.

5) 24hr Whataburger isn't a thing if there's weather.

But did you die?
Glad you and the wife made it back unscathed.
..and Whataburger is so nasty it's delicious.
Buc-ees though. Highlight of the past few days. That place was dope
Right?! But the kolaches from Little Czech Bakery in West, TX are well known across the country. I hate it when I pass thru in off hours.
