Cheaper to swap in whole diffs.

If you don't want the locker you can get MT S/X axles with 3.54 gears. Rear will me a M226.
I mean I’d like a locker, but would like to keep cost down. I was also thinking of potentially used Frontier diffs. But they may be rarer.

Also, I had WD40 Silicone spray out and wanted to try that on my end links since other stuff didn’t seem to last more than a day. I shot a spray on all my control arm flex points while I was there and that was a HUGE mistake. It’s insanely loud and creaky now. Like people are staring in parking lots because they can’t decide if it’s an old wooden boat or rusted out tank they hear.

Frontier is spring over in the rear so you've got to be able to weld on spring under spring pads.
Ah, that’s right. So if I could source them it’d be the gears out of the rear and I could swap the whole front one in. Still wish I’d swapped them out of the silver one.

I slipped and went swimming this last wknd and ruined my week old phone. I got the same Samsung model and because it's not the new super exp S20 or 21 I can't get a waterproof case for it. I'm bummed.

So i hopped in the X and it didn't want to go into reverse. I shifted to and fro but no go, just acted like neutral. Shut it off, had beers. Shifted fine. Later same day, yesterday, took bud home and it wouldn't shift out of what I guess was 2nd gear. Hit backroads, got there, had beer and it shifted fine on way home.

I jump in it today and it runs great but about 5 miles into city driving it throws CEL dash light. I have the little Bluetooth OBDII code reader that Terry mentioned that I'll throw on 1st thing in the morn..

I used that method for years.. kayaking, SAR missions, Hunting, hiking works!!. Cheap.. and easy. If risk of damage use two bags!. Roll top, add good Rubber Band.. SEALED!!!.

When I carry Alchy fuel stoves.. Will store my Booze in Ziplock bags. case they leak. BUT.. I use EverClear for fuel.. Food safe! of it leaks

FedEx finally decided to deliver my extended ubolts for my new AALs (courtesy of @Prime). Just waiting on those to show up, and I can get my 2in lift done on the Fronty.

been having issues with FedEx delays on almost everything lately

It sounds like you just need to keep beer on hand…

I think it was the PB Blaster Dry graphite I sprayed on mine and it quieted them down a lot . I sprayed while on ground and while tire was off the ground , just to get in them nook's and crannie's ; Lol Just put something their so the overspray don't end up on rotor's/caliper's and tire's !!

I've used Torque for years. I also have dash command, which I liked because I could build custom displays on the computer, but it's less useful with the nissans, as it doesn't do trans temp (but I don't think torque can either).

Somewhat knowing you, I figure you've got the upgraded version.? How do you like Torque? I'm thinking of upgrading just for the ability to reset the codes..
Yeah, I got the Pro. It doesn't do trans-temp but it gives me plenty of other info and you can program in custom stuff if you know the OBD2 addressing.
