The dark knight rises is much better than the dark knight. Yes, Heath Ledger did an amazing Joker. I won't deny. But, Tom Hardy as Bane is completely underrated because of the death of Heath Ledger. I think Dark Knight Rises is a much better movie.

Both Bane and the Joker are in my top 5 favorite villains, so I enjoyed both movies equally for their characters.

They were both phenomenal. I love Jack Nicholsons Joker. It was evil but fun. Heath Ledgers Joker was probably my favorite Joker. Just the insanity of the character, the no holds barred attitude.

Bane was also in that same vein. And it was brought to life wonderfully.
While I will always have a love and soft spot for the Michael Keaton movies. But the Christian Bale movies are my favorite.
