I checked the wiring in my driver door going to the cranking motor, the harness, etc. I've got 12v to the switch (you can hear it clicking when pressing up or down on the switch), I've got 12v to the motor as well.

I've watched several videos but can't get the window loose to get it up manually to get access to the regulator so.. when I dropped it off at Nissan yesterday for the airbag recall I told them to fix it. Not looking fwd to what they have to say come payment time..

I sure thought we were gonna get it driving back last night but nothing in the metro, perhaps in the east mountains

Well, I snagged my truck back from the dealership once they fixed the airbag and gave me a quote on the window motor.

They wanted $625+ to replace the motor I'd provided...ufck that!

Let's see how much fun this ends up being?

I am thinking of buying a full size truck. I have zero brand allegiance, but have owned a Fronty and a X of course, and 02 Dodge Dakota liked all three, drove a E150 van for work for 15 years, and when I first started driving had a handful of GM products.

The new to me truck needs to be 4wd and have a V8, be in the neighborhood of $20,000 and be no older than a 2016.

Personal taste looks only cause I haven't driven any yet the Rams look the best in both the Classic trim and the newer style grill with the Ram wording, Sierra and Silverado's are next and the Titan and F150's I neither like or dislike looks wise. No mention of a Tundra because A I think they are ugly and B. Paying the Toyota tax is gonna take me away from what I'm looking for.

Fire away give me Pro's and Con's

the coyote is a winner, (ford 5.0) unsure of how far back gm cam/lifter issues go, I know all the newer stuff is pretty bad about it.

Just curious is the Coyote Flex fuel or is that a different 5.0? I think I have seen 5.0 listed as both flex and gas but that may be an error in entering the info on the websites.

Depends on year and what vehicle it’s in, I ran 91 in the mustang

I have a 8 full size trucks (3/4 and 1 ton trucks) in my work fleet that are between 2014 and 2022.
Dodges have had the most issues with tranys going and electrical gremlins. The brakes also seam to need to be replaced more often. Also dial shifters are stupid.
GMC/Chevy arn't the best on fuel but doesn't seam to get worse when hauling. Have had 2 issues of wheel studs failing, could be the tire shops issue but was same tire on 2 different trucks.
Ford, Stay far far away from the 5.4. Have had 2 gage clusters act up but have a local that will re sodder them and have been fine since(those sere on 06 and 08 trucks). No other issues with them.
Just my input

I mean that to say, if the Supra was an actual Toyota. That wouldn't happen.
or maybe the new supra just isn't that great looking and its performance #'s are kinda dismal, especially for the price, not necessarily a bmw/toyota thing, a lot of toyotas line up is very boring

True. But every time I see the new Z on the road, I like it more. I have an old Mustang. I'd rock a new Z.
Oh I like em too, last trip to dealership to get quote for timing belt on, I spent a good bit looking at em, great car, but too expensive. I loved my mustang and had legit reasons for getting rid of it, when I have room for whats gonna be a weekend only car, I'll get another, but it'll be a step above just a gt

Old shiat is better than new shiat
I wont say better, but different and it depends on what you like

for comparison, to make the x out wheel my 6g bronco would take more than the cost of a 6g bronco, HOWEVER, it is extremely capable, in large part thanks to computers, things like one pedal trail assist (it automatically applies brakes when you let off the throttle when in 4x4) takes a lot of getting used to, and theres a lot to be said for actually having to drive the truck that makes this fun, not saying the bronco isn't fun, but its different and takes some getting used too, but its clear when you do drive it that they set out to make the best 4x4 they could when they started engineering this thing. and yeah, that little 2.7 will kick any 302's ass.

love em both for different reasons
