Anyone have a smart watch recommendation? Looking to track my heart rate and such better when exercising or hiking. Not so much to wear as a watch daily.

If you want good HR tracking, get a chest strap. Optical trackers are not that overly accurate.

My wife ran a fitbit for a while, but the device kept breaking. She switched to a Garmim Vivosmart, and while it was more reliable, the strap a couple times, and it uses special straps. She now uses an Instinct because it can use standard watch bands. The Instinct also has really good battery life (and you can get better if you buy the solar-backed one).

Started with the Garmin vivoactove 3 tonuse as a normal watch that i could get text messages and cpntrome tunes from ky phone. Upgraded to the instinct tactical solar when i came home from my last deploymebt in 2020. Still wear it daily and get 20 ish days of battery life when im just bashing away at a key board like an angry monkey. Love the solar option for when im out in the field though same with the gps that comes with the tactical versions

At some point, some engineer decided the tried and true for 60 years driveshaft strap wasn’t any good and decided what we needed was a flanged with 4 21mm bolts/nuts, cause those bolts won’t rust up on a semi that sees 800k miles in all sorts of places and conditions
4 ufcking hours later, I finally got the seized axle shafts out and am now figuring out which engineer needs a tow truck parked in their bedroom :)IMG_0603.jpegIMG_0601.jpeg
