Long ass day..

Figuring @TerryD showed them boys up on the Weber..
No. The 1st and 2nd place wings were both the last ones finished so everyone else's was cold when we judged.

Ours on charcoal rarely do well at this. Lots of Yankees.

But enough excuses. All the wings were good so tough fight either way.

I now own a Ford. Consolation prize for last place?

Brother gave it to our oldest daughter for her first car. He hates it. Has the 2nd dumbest transmission made, which for Ford is truly a feat of engineering considering their automatics are usually shiat, but it's a free car for her to probably total.

Dang, I hate it when that happens! Turn in times are key.

Congrats on the car..I think.

Also why as much as I don’t like cats, this one has become mine. Lol
Funny how cats do that.

My grandma never really liked cats, they were tools to her. Kept the mice down in barns and such. Fast forward a bunch of years, I adopted one, she wasn't too impressed. First time family got together after I adopted him, we're sitting down to watch something on TV together, he wanders over to where she is sitting, nuzzles her a bit, then curls up on her lap and goes to sleep. She just gets this look of, "ohh, I get it now", and was super happy he was there.

Along with the car, he gifted her the tool you have to use to engage and disengage the clutches (4) so you can spray the fork assemblies with brake clean when they inevitably gum up with clutch debris and you lose half your gears.

If this transmission had a full manual mode and this car was only driven on a race track then torn down each week to clean out the transmission clutches, it'd be a bad ass little car. But a Rally stage dual clutch automatic should NOT be in a semi-disposable commuter car.
