When the engine got swapped in my Jeep, they left off the heat shield for the injectors and fuel rail. Just ordered a set from DEI to install when I swap injectors.

Might do the aluminum valve cover while I'm in there as well.

Looking at a sound upgrade. These are what I'm thinking. Sub and amp (actually discontinued 200W version) are recommended by Jeep forum crew.

Seems reasonable. Wattage seems high for the sub. But I guess more power because it's not confined.

My only suggestion would be to find a Marine rated double gang so you can run nav apps /CarPlay / AA

Gotta remember that 300w is peak for the sub. RMS is 150w. Miiiight be a bit spicy.
They don't make the 200W version of that amp anymore.

I use my phone for navigating, so that's not an issue and I don't want to slice up all the dash braces to get a double in there. These were 1.5din originally and no one makes a decent quality unit for those anymore. This single is a weatherproof marine radio cause Jeep.

Stereo installed. Gotta sit in it and figure out the EQ.

Somehow lost all the screws for the drivers side speaker and trim. WTF. That's never happened to me before. I've gone all over the garage, house and Jeep multiple times and no luck.

Have you looked in the last place?? We all know that you find things in the last place you look. ;)

New PCM works pretty darn good! I can actually clear my CEL now without unhooking the battery. Still having voltage variance, probably need to look at my battery cables and stuff soon.

Adventure time! Once the Jeep is inspected, it's a 7hr road trip! Packed the old PCM JIC but I'm sure it'll be fine. Runs better so far, hoping it holds up.

Well, installing the lift and kinda stalled. Rear track bar relocation bracket holes don't line up with the axle bracket so I've got an email in to Currie to see how that want me to proceed.

The broken shock bolts are drilled through and ready for longer bolts and nuts. I'll deal with a correct fix when I finally lift the tub to deal with the body mounts in the future.

Was debating pulling the fuel tank to fix the filler neck issue but gonna hold off since I've had this setback. Looking forward to the increase in ground clearance!

Struggling with the shocks and LCAs. Looks like I need to cut down the back of the coil buckets to clear the shocks and run out the LCAs to lower the pinion angle.

Don't know if I will need a CV rear shaft yet or not. Probably, but I will hold off for the moment.

The saga continues tomorrow evening.

Gotta straighten the steering, one upper rear control arm bolt needs a washer, and I've got to swap brake hoses.

Oh, and my steering stabilizer looks like this.
