Taking the intake to a local hot rod builder tomorrow I hope to get the crack looked at. Hopefully he can fix it.

Picked up a new pair of matched injectors and a injector pod spacer from CFM Tech. Gonna order the Jet adjustable fuel pressure regulator from Jegs probably. Ran the throttle body through the ultrasonic last night and got a full AC Delco kit for it.

Fighting myself over swapping in the L98 cam from the 350 on the stand. Don't want to go too far without the ability to tune it yet.

Had her running and driving for a couple weeks. Actually lost bottom end power but honestly, whatever.

Scored the super skookum 1993-1995 pickup '427 ecm at the you-pull-it yard for $10 and working on the tune to swap it in. Also scored a prom burner/emulator setup for $125!

I found a set of SLP headers but for $1800, I'm not gonna jump on them. They would be awesome for a vintage performance build to go with my "Ultimate TBI Mods" and Edelbrock manifold. But damn...

These you have to actually rewrite the EPROM externally. This actually gives me a really nice adapter board and a spare programmable chip!

I pulled the Hypertech program and it's kinda funky. Just a bunch of low vacuum timing increases and transmission tuning stuff for the non-existent computer controlled transmission.

Got the driver's side torn down to install the new KYB struts and one of the new mounts is trash. Bearing loose in the stamped housing and the rubber not bonded to the outer shell and moves 3/8" up and down....

We just can't have nice things anymore
It's damn embarrassing. The new one is delivered but I'm waiting on new dust shields from Hawks to show up.

I don't want to dig into the ECM swap till I verify pin-outs and with it not driving.

I did pull all the BOSE amps and I'm debating $500 in repairs for them vs trying to update it all to modern stuff.
