Starting engine after airbags deploy

A buddy of mine rolled his 2010 xterra, they put it back on the ground now his truck will not start. Is there a way to bypass any safety feature to get the truck started or does the airbag have to be replaced before it can be started? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I would look over all the wire in the motor to make sure nothing is loose.. Salsa rolled his and it started

My side airbags deployed and it was no problem to start it up. The seatbelts locked out and were unusable. Was it his front airbag?

Should start. The safety is that it kills the engine when the bags deploy so a fire doesn't start.

For the record, my truck did not turn itself off when it tipped over and the side bags deployed.

When it rolls, there can be other issues, such as oil and fuel leaving their normal places and going elsewhere, connections getting jarred loose, such as ground straps, fuses, etc, small parts getting jammed/broken that take a while to find, etc.

Start with the basics....check the fuses and relays, and see where the continuity starts/stops on the way to the plugs from the battery for example.......make sure the connections are tight, etc.

See if its getting fuel.

Look at the radiator/air intake for damage....and so forth.
