Speedometer, Mileage, Odometer, trip, tracking alternatives with increased tire size?

I'm bumping up my tire size and I want a KISS way of seeing my actual MPH and Mileage / trip counter. I'd like to avoid any cell phone apps as I don't want to have problems with them linking up all the time etc. I have a superchips programmer but last I knew it does not support tire size adjustment (I've been trying to update it for days and having problems with the new software, waiting on customer support now).

So what options are out there? GPS units that I can just plugin and stick to my dash? Scan gauge? Do the bully dog tuners have tire size adjustment (I realize I could look this up but if you look up the flashpaq it says on some vehicles you can enter tire size adjustments yet that is not true for us).

I do my gas mileage every single time I fill up (total trip divided by gallons filled up). It's a sickness. So I need a fix for this. Something to keep track of my trip and seeing my actually MPH would be nice.

I have an ultragauge and like it. Setting it up and assigning all the gauges can be a bit annoying but it works fairly well. Wasnt to impressed with the suction cup mount though. Just kept falling off my window. Luckily the it fits my old motorola droid window mount from like 6 years ago.

If it is just for mpg. The easiest way to go with your sickness is stick with the odometer and just do the Odo x new ratios / gal . The tire ratio will stay the same.

I have a bully dog and you can adjust for tire size on it and also the mpg to make it accurate but I find it is good overall but varies a little. as you just change by percentage. So if you calibrate for hwy vs city it will be more accurate one way then the other. It does have a trip average mpg on it. But I have not figured out how long the vehicle needs to be off for this to reset.

Thanks Intender, I saw that when reading up on the Ultragauge too: that it can be a pain to set up but everyone said that shouldn't deter you from buying it. I didn't read anyone saying the window mount sucked. I've been researching mounting options and so far I'm really liking what I've seen a couple people do. They've been buying a elbow piece from the hardware store, cutting the window mount in half (keeping the swivel and some of the shaft) glueing/JB welding the parts together and making an a-pillar mount. I'm really liking what this guy did here and will probably do it if I end up with it (http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/new-80-in-virginia.473802/page-19)

Metzican. I wish I had waited just a few more months for the bullydog to come out. That is when I got my superchips. I'd love to try and find someone to do a trade but I havnt tried. As for doing the included math.. Thats an option but I'm trying to be a bit more lazy about it.. I suppose that would be just as accurate as the device. The only more accurate (I believe) would be going with some kind of GPS Unit

as for your trip average mpg.... I thought I read somewhere that it might be derived from the vehicle itself (I think the SE has trip/total mpg). Maybe if you reset it on the dash it will reset in the unit? More food for thought than anything because I haven't read up on the bully dog that much. And I don't have an SE.
