Southern Utah or Colorado Runs

Hey all. I’m from the DC area and decided to just drive out west for a couple of weeks to break up the monotony of the holidays.

Just curious to see what folks are up to the weekend after Christmas. I know the weather isn’t very forgiving right now, but I want to see if there were plans to hit some stock safe trails that haven’t been shut down for snow yet, or maybe a Moab trip?

I’ll be staying in Oklahoma during the week with some family, but am free Friday night to Sunday night to wheel.

Also, are there any active Facebook groups for this general region that anyone knows of?

Give me a shout if you make it to Moab, I'll be around unless I'm off skiing. We have snow on the ground, but some of the stock safe trails are still passable. That might change if we get much more snow though.

There is a Utah Xterra Owners Club FB group that's somewhat active, you could try that, although most of the members are in the northern part of the state.

That particular trip is around an area called Eureka. Definitely not the area the OP was hoping to go. But, they too have a Facebook group I believe.
