We are planning to meet up in the Harrisonburg area around noon this Sunday to go out to Switzer Lake and do the lower portion of Dunklehollow Rd in and out. We will *NOT* be attempting to go up to Flagpole Knob and putting ourselves at risk. There will be ice under the snow and once the trail is no longer level and/or there are drop-offs we will have turned back around already.

When I went last winter and deeply regretted the dangerous spot we were in, we wished we’d turned around because the ~4 miles up to that point was beautiful scenery and a lot of fun to drive in. So this time we’re hoping to enjoy a little snow challenge without the added stress and turning around much earlier.

If you’d like to come along please reply here and/or text me.

Make sure your tires are in good condition and you bring plenty of food, water, and warm gear.

No Pamper's here , Just wanted to drive around here in case another sensor or the throttle body acted up . Wait a minute !!

I didn't see your vehicle in those picture's either
Hey, kinda short notice for me to setup a 7 hr away trip. And on a Sunday to boot when I have to work Monday morning. I was already in NJ watching my son at a college bowling tourney on Saturday. Now, get that second wax coat on her before you two go play.
