SMOD

Being new to all things Xterra, how concerned should I be about SMOD ?
I have a 2010 off road, everything appears fine.
The radiator part number is 21460 ZL11A.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

IMHO..... If you have an automatic tranny, replace the radiator and put your mind at ease. One less thing to keep you awake at night. 2010 is in the SMOD range.

Looks like there are some reports of that part number having issues. I would replace it ASAP.

I'm not sure if this posting is best served in "general maintenance" or in "drivetrain" Regardless, it's of enough importance that I wished to share it with our community. .......... The Nissan Xterrra is a rather reliable vehicle but, there is one HUGE issue to become aware of, which is SMOD...

Not sure about a 2010 but my 05 take's a Koyo rad A- 2807
