Upon its first movement in the morning, the X has a low volume slow rolling squeak from the front left. It can be from a straight forward roll to a left turn roll at very low speed. It disappears once the initial squeak occurs and is gone until it sits for a while again. Just changed the front differential fluid and it began within one week of that. Plan is to flush and change the same fluid again. Went from Nissan original to Valvoline. Sound is rotational in nature and is on-off-on-off. Have not check hubs yet. Weather is slop.

Definitely sounds like brakes. I had that happen once when the pads I installed were just barely too big and a mm was extending beyond the rotor. It drove me insane until I replaced them.
