Guys that are swapped. I want to see if I can get a collection of pictures of what your eccentric bolts look like on your LCAs. I'm on the cusp of putting my shiat on the ground and I want the alignment to be somewhat drivable so I can drive it to get it professionally done. I figure a large enough sample size will get me in the ballpark.

Thanks!

Well I'll point out that I'm using Greg's Uniball uppers. So. shiat might get different. But I plan on having it professionally done and then marking where it goes so I can do it. The factory outer tie measurement is in the FSM. So toe will be what the book says and I'll let a rack tell me if that's right.

If I'm not mistaken, the Brutal alignment on the frontier site is for non adjustable uppers.

I used to have greg's uppers. I did front all the way in and rear all the way out with those, and adjusted the uppers until it drove well. I bought mine used so I have no clue where they were adjusted when new.

I have better luck aligning by feel than I do from "professionals". Camber, easy eye ball. Caster adjust until you like how its driving. That's what gets all the pulls out, plus how much it wants to self center. Too much caster it gets twitchy, too little and it wanders. Offset, it pulls (to the higher caster side iirc). Toe I eyeball and watch tire wear like a hawk. 1/2 turn adjustments until you are close. 1/4 adjustments fine tuning. Tires will also be quieter when you are getting close.

Honestly I was happier with the alignment I got with gregs uca's, but got tired of the uniballs wearing out after seemingly every winter. SPC's also have more travel, but it depends on if you have a coilover that can use it.

safest bet if you don't want to mess with it is just go middle middle unless the camber says otherwise. Make sure you let the truck roll after setting it down on the ground before looking.
