Rocker Panel Vinyl Decals

Ever since getting a vinyl cutting machine, I've been toying with the idea of doing some exterior mods. If indeed there is no hole behind my door molding, I'm contemplating removing it and doing something like this in a matte black:


Anybody know of somebody that's done something similar before? Would love to see other ideas as well. The limitation is I can only make pieces up to 12"x24" so it would have to be something like the above where there are breaks in the design. I don't want to do long solid pieces that will have a seam.

Mine were removed, no holes just adhesive. Would look cool..

But I have heard from one person with a 2015 S that they didn’t have any. My theory so far is the Pro4X has holes and X and S don’t.

Well this a real kick in the nuts… I have holes in my door. So if anyone wants this decal set, I can get the passenger side cut out and sell the two sides for cost. The material is Oracal 751 (high performance marine grade) in matte black.

That’s actually just photoshop in that image to see what it would look like. Turns out I have holes behind my plastic so I can’t do it unless I want to do some body work.
