It just wouldn't be right if I didn't post pictures of the Gen 1 prototype.

James beginning by building the winch plate section.

Man, if I can ever afford a front bumper for myself, I'd like to see if the 1st gen model can be modified to fit onto a 2nd gen. Not really into their "Batman Bumper" but the 1st gen would look perfect on an 09+, very similar lines to the stock bumper cover.

Shipped to Michigan and drove down from Toronto to pick it up.

Modified the stock fog lights to go on the bumper cut outs. They fit nicely and flushed since they have the same angle as the bumper.

Powdercoated it for 175$ CAD

The RLC bumper has gone international! Nice Xterra too. I like that you made the factory lights work. Do you have more detailed pictures of how you did it?

Heres a few pics of stock fog lights (02-04) on RLC bumper.

Basically its an extension for the existing tabs (~ 2"), plus a few washers to raise it up a bit. I also aded a few ruber washers to damp vibration. They seat solid in there.

They can be adjusted (up/down) by turning that long threaded rod.

I have to get me one of those rear bumpers. James is still deciding what the price will be. I'm already saving what I can.

I was kind of wondering whether I'd like the basic bumper (which I ordered) and whether or not I should ask him to add some bars to it, but after seeing more basic bumpers, I'm starting to like them more and more. ESPECIALLY since they have the clevis mounts (which I'm not used to)

Holy smokes..I can't believe its been 2 years since I bought my RLC. Still holding up strong but I do need to do some paint repair.

You'll love your RLC bumper dude! Top notch work!!

Well, the solid axle swap has the bumper mounting on the back burner. Once it's done, then I'll mount the bumper and see about having a rear done. I have an idea about how I want the rear bumper made, so I may shoot RLC a call or email today and see if he can do it. But I'll need it before GONE.

A day or so... James is very cool to work with.. If my Xterra wasn't is such disarray I'd give it to him to work from... Just too far to drive it right now..

So far jack has the only RLC rear
