I was able to join up with the MN Nissan crew again this weekend and run around the Spider Lake OHV area in central MN. The temps were a little above freezing, so it made the snow soft on the sides of the trail and icy in the grooves. The conditions definitely made for a fun run.

Installed the door MOLLE panels from @GreyDuck this weekend. A few years ago, I ordered the panels from Nisstec, not realizing my 2015 had the updated door panel. Obviously, the panels didn't fit and I returned them. I worked with Nisstec and Hep's at the time to see if they would bring panels to market for the updated door, I don't think they ever did. So, I sat for awhile without the panels, until Grey Duck had me test these out. Needless to day, they fit pretty dang well and come in at a significantly better price than the competitor.

Those look like they fit pretty good. I forgot about how the late gen 2's have that box thing below the arm rest. Have you ever had the panels off? Curious if it's just a hollow box.

It's a side impact crash safety improvement thing. Apparently this raised the Torso rating from Acceptable (2014) to Good.

Beginning with 2015 models, design changes were made to the side thorax airbags and front door trim panels to further improve protection for front seat occupants.
