Reduced Power

All, my check engine light and the ABS and SLIP light come on while driving. when these come on I have reduced power. put it on a scanner and it said the pedal sensor was bad. this was just replaced before I bought it. I can pull over and kill it and restart it and they will go out and power will resume.Anyone have any ideals what may be causing the issue?

I’m not a tech guy, so this is purely speculation, but do you need to do the pedal position sensor relearn maybe? I don’t know if it’s required after replacing that part or not. Starts at 2:13 of this video:

I don't have any specific knowledge about this, but do you know if the recently replaced sensor was an OEM one? I just know from reading these forums, and from my own limited experience, that if the part has the word "sensor" in it, you're best off to just go with OEM to avoid any headaches.
