Anything else you want to share with others: Really like these however it was quite the difference from the highway tires i had before. These things do great out on the trails around here almost acts like its pavement. They do hum a bit at highway speed, but you'll get used to. So happy with these

Price: $780 out the door
Pavement: 9 They are very very quiet going down the road, and the on road handling is great. There is a slight amount of sidewall roll, but not extremely noticeable unless I am driving too fast.
Rock: 10 They grip rocks like nobody's business since they are an AT, and when aired down, the footprint gets to be a nice size.
Snow: 7 They fill up with snow easily, and give outstanding traction in the snow, but traction could be better on icy areas
Mud: 8 Provided that you have the power to spin them, they clean out fine and will get you through a substantial amount of mud.
Gravel: 8 They handle well, but they pick up rocks and throw them all over the place.
Miles: 3000 I had them on my Jeep before I had my X, and they were awesome on there too. I look forward to getting 60,000+ miles out of these tires.

Pavement: 6 These are loud tires. I do not mind it, but some might. Seem to grip road well enough, no sliding/skidding complaints yet.
Rock: 8 Pretty darn awesome. I've crawled up some gravelly/rocky roads and had the occasional slip, but they eventually caught on and pulled though.
Snow: dunno, have no had any yet
Mud: 6 Only complaint is treads fill up and pack in pretty bad, but I still managed to maintain grip fairly well w/o sliding everywhere.
Gravel: 9 Awesome! Treads large enough to fling pebbles around, but that's an MT for ya... These things kick bum in sand dunes!
Miles: ~7,000

$166 each. Buy 3 get one free.
Pavement- Very loud, good grip on dry roads, at 45psi they can be fun on wet roads.
Rock- At 18psi they grip quite well. A couple of outside lugs have chunked off though.
Snow- At 45psi, not the best for snow and ice, aired down they do much better.
Mud- Excellent grip in mud, very pleased with their performance.
Gravel- Pretty good here also, wide gap in tread so rocks don't get stuck in them much.

Price- On the X when I bought it.
Mileage-44000+
Pavement- Slight humm, barely can hear them. Excellent grip.
Rock- Haven't tried them in rocks, street use only.
Snow- Excellent grip in snow and ice for an AT tire
Mud- ehh, as with any AT tire they clog up pretty quick, keep them spinning fast and they do ok.
Gravel- Very good here also, small rocks will be flung around.
Over all- The best AT tires I have ever used for on road performance. I've been through a few sets of tires in my 32 years of driving.

I really can't say enough about these tires, I've loved them from the moment I put them on. They handle MUCH better than my stock BFG Rugged Trail's did, they actually support the weight of the xterra without bulging on the sidewalls. I run them at 35psi so that the dummy light on the dash stays off, but, in the event of actually needing to load it up and haul with it I can run them all the way up to 75psi. I don't typically air down for playing offroad as I'm already running at half of the max air pressure, I've done plenty of crawling with them on some pretty gnarly rock for what I can find in the area at everyday air pressure and no worries. Snow, ice, wet, dry, deep sand, gravel, rock...these babies love it all...

Here's a pic...a little tripod action...Macland might remember this shot too.

These tires have exceeded my expectations in snow, mud, sand, on gravel and the normal street. My wife and I drive often drive to Utah into the Mountains near Cedar City. A couple times we found ourselves in deep snow. There's a picture below of the snow we drove through to get an idea:) On the pavement the tires have low amount of noise. On gravel I had no problem going up a steep hills and these were alot of fun in the mud:) In the mud it felt like I was driving a snowmobile where there's little shift to the right or left but never felt I was out of or losing control. I love these tires.

Size: 285/75R16
Brand: General Grabber
Model: AT2
Type: AT
Price: $800 OTD
Pavement: 8 Slight tire hum getting louder as they wear (non issue imo). Seem to be wearing pretty well with this as my curent DD with a 40 mile round trip a day.
Rock: 9 Aired down, these do great in the rocks. I have always been able to keep up with the locked rigs. Great flexability for a D rated tire and tough as nails.
Snow: 5 didn't see much snow this yr. The six ply do come with the snowflake M+S rating...
Mud: 3 for stopping, 7 if you are spinning them enough to clean out.
Gravel: 8 Tell your friends to stay back 100ft in all directions, they fling the small stuff everywhere.
Miles: 7100 I like them so far but a better deal can be had on better tires if you are willing to do your homework. I've run BFG at's before and like the General's more.

I was turning on to these tires by the guys from HEFTY fabworks when I purchased my bumper and sliders. They look mean as a mud tire goes. The are siped from the company and it does goes all the way down. At low speeds like 5-15 mph you get the initial mud terrain sound. When speed gets up past 20mph though it is really not bad at all. I was shocked I mean they are not quiet you know they are there but they are far from a super swamper. I use them as a daily driver and I still drive like I am in a sports car I have been told. They have much better traction that the stock rugged trail tires in the rain. I cannot tell you about the off-road use yet but I am going to Woolys off road park tomorrow to get my freak on. Hopefully I will get to use my winch.

Size: 265/75/16
Brand: BFG
Model: KO2's
Type: AT
Price: Came on truck when purchased (They were new from dealer)

PROS: Drive great when new. Rugged. Great in sand/desert driving.

CONS: After about 10k miles they suck in rain. Get noisy with ware. Road performance falls off quick, and dramatically around the 10k mark. To the point of chirping tires when accelerating after red light.

Mileage- about 25k before I sold them. Plenty of tread left.

PROS: Great overall tire. Best rain and snow performing AT I've had experience with. Very comfortable and smooth on road and highway speeds. Above average ware results. Found them to be more rugged and tougher than what I read in reviews. Made it though several of the toughest rock gardens in SoCal and AZ. 2 trips Moab. All without fail. Note: these are E rated version.

CONS: The same awesome compound that makes them awesome, makes them crack and chuck considerably especially in desert climate. However, performance didn't fall off much. Just a cosmetic thing. They tend to be a little noisy when they ware. Did require significant weight to balance.

Milage (updated) - 6k so far

These are built on the same carcass has the DuraTracs with a new rubber compound and different tread design. So far they have performed similar to the DuraTracs. I suspect they will remain a little more quiet then the DT's and slightly better gas mileage due to tread design. My hope is that the new compound won't crack and chunk has bad as the DT's. Remains to be seen. Will update with mileage.

Side Note: For those who care where tires are made. see link :https://www.utires.com/articles/tires-made-usa-american-foreign-brands/
Cliff notes version of link above. Has of 2019. Goodyear and Cooper are the only 2 USA owned, designed, and manufactured tires. It includes their sub brands like Kelley Tires & Fierce Attitude for GY. Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Attitude M/T, Mastercraft, Avon, Futura, and Hercules for Cooper.

Pavement: 9. Good road manners in all weather
Rock: 6. Grip well, weak sidewalls.
Snow: 9. They performed really well in deep and packed snow.
Mud: (?) I avoid mud like the plague.
Gravel: 9. No issues. Will fling rocks if you floor it.

Thoughts: These performed really well up until I titan swapped and started running harder, rockier trails. At that point, I trashed 3 in 2 trips due to weak sidewalls. Lots of weight to balance. Worn fairly evenly. I had no issues with them chunking here on the east coast.

Verdict: great for running milder trails. Not for aggressive wheeling.
