R180 Length Axles

Ok so weighting all suspension options and think T swap is my best course of action. I see on Nistec and rugged rocks they offer Titan length R180 axles. My question is only the center shaft longer and will the inner and outer CVs match the spline count of stock Titan shafts or are these units they sell completly custom?

Thanks

If you want to T-swap your suspension and keep running your stock R180 then yes you can purchase the rugged rocks CV shaft, reuse your stock CV joints. That's what I'm running.... or the Nisstec pre made Cv's..... or there is a stock Nissan CV for another model that works, I just can't remember which one it is.

For some reason I'm thinking V8 pathfinder?

No, you can't.

The newer qx56 axles will work. They switched to r180 in those at some point - who knows why, it doesn't make any sense. If you can get oem ones, they will be good. I would avoid aftermarket though. They are notoriously weaker for the r180 than the oem style. Or buy the extended r180 shafts from rugged rocks. Between the two options, I personally would get the rugged rocks extended shafts to work with the stock xterra/frontiers. That's what we did on dads xterra even though we knew about the qx56 option.

I think you mean QX80 which is the latest version of the qx56
