Proud new owner of a gen 1 Xterra

So i just purchased a gen 1 (2003) Xterra and was curious if anybody has done a 6” spindle lift with add leafs and shackles in the rear and if there is a company that makes such a thing or can someone please steer me in the right direction for the proper lift kit for this thing. Everything i am finding says it comes with strut spacers for the from which is incorrect since these gen one’s have torsion bars. Ive been a mechanic for quite some time now and can do anything on this vehicle if i can find the correct kit or company that makes the proper lifts for these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is no 6 inch spindle lift for the 1dt Gen Xterra. Most people do a 3.inch suspension lift from 4x4parts.com and pair that with a 2 inch body lift.

The only other way you're going to get that much lift is by doing an SAS.

There is a spindle lift for 2WD 1st gens floating in the ether somewhere. Been a while since I've seen one for sale.

As said, the best you can do conventionally is 3" suspension with UCAs and new torsion bars plus a 2" body lift.

Past that, it's all custom unless you just SAS the front and there's kits for that.

Also, welcome from Denver!

Welcome from North Texas! Ditto what Prime said. There is no off the shelf option for a six inch lift. 4x4parts makes some of the best lift stuff you can still get for these:

But its 3". To go like you want, its a SAS (Solid Axle Swap).

Welcome aboard!
