isn’t it just the Titan MC and brake booster?
It is and it isn't. More complicated because I'm manual and the clutch hydraulic system is fed from the M/C. And there was never a manual titan. So. It took a bit more research.

@JeffPro4x what did you plug the 2nd hole in the M/C with? I have a set of junk yard pressure sensors that I'm going to use one of.

I bought JY. Came with sensors already in.

Discovered last week that my new upper shock mounts won't work w/ the Radflo emulsion shocks. The body of the shock is just too big. So. It's back to the drawing board. I think I have a plan. I just need to cut/weld more metal.

Truck is now 50% Titan swapped.

The astute among you will notice that I have absolutely zero suspension up travel at the moment. It will remain this way until I get my new upper mounts installed.

Also, the bump stops are EXACTLY where the Junction is between the hard and soft brake lines. So. That presents an interesting challenge. Remains to be seen if I'll need the stops once the alcans go on.

Is it just me or is it not sticking out that far? I guess it helps that the rear tucks a little closer than the front to start?

nvm- just saw the post in the post white thread. #Perspective.

Skids removed. Sway bar officially in the trash (been driving with only one side hooked up for almost 4 years). Prep work done.

Weather permitting, Titan surgery starts next Friday.

When the skids go back up, I'm going to need all new hardware. And to drill/tap some new holes in the engine crossmember. One of the front bolts for the engine skid sheered off a LONG time ago and the other one I had to cut with the angle grinder because the captive nut broke.

Also, lower left bolt for the swaybar. Took an angle grinder to cut the bracket to pieces and a box end wrench with the ufcking floor jack to break it loose. When I was jacking the wrench up, it was actually lifting the truck. I have no clue why that bolt was so insane. But it's tight now and will never have to be removed again.

Rear shock mount 2.0. The flat steel gets attached to the frame. The bolt goes through with the spacers and everything gets tightened up.

The nut is a metal lock, so I'm not going to tighten it on the bench.

This one is for the passenger side. It's final height will determine where the hole gets drilled for the drivers side to maintain the geometry and the matching travel.

Better pics? Is it going on TOP of the frame?

So the triangles will rest on top of and be welded to the frame rail. So it moves the shock mount above the frame rail because body lift. Measurements say that I'll get about 3½" of extra room. Which cancels out almost exactly what I lost by having the lower mounts flush with the axle tube. Other advantage is that I'm going to tweak the angle just a bit so the shock will be more effective.

It begins.

Last picture of the truck in its current state.

Reference picture. This is how far the center of the hub is from the concrete as it sits on the stands. I have a feeling I won't be able to put the tires back on once it's said and done. Haha.

Morning one progress. Not much. But. It got hot real fast.

I think I'm just going to cut the UCAs instead of trying to deal with that ball joint. I'll save the hubs for goneMOAB spares.

It took me 2 hours on mine and a lot of swearing, and I couldn't get the heat shields back on. Dave's rig has a BL so it was much easier. When I broke loose the first engine bolt I though for sure I had busted it... I about fell into the engine bay.

I helped @xterraography install PRG mounts and same exact experience with breaking the bolts loose. A lot of time, PB Blaster, and cussing preceded it finally going, and I almost did a flying elbow drop as well. We had every extension I had duct taped together. Same deal with the block of wood under the engine pan. I made the decision at that point I wasn’t doing mine unless it was absolutely necessary.

Yeah, I started and then said the heck with it and checked with my shop... let them do it when it needs doing. I'm too old to mess with something like this.
