Hi everyone, I'm getting ready to replace my motor mounts, original oem mounts lasted me 140K+ miles. I'm looking in to doing the PRG motor mounts, has anyone used these mounts before? What are your opinions of the mounts, how bad is the vibration going to be if I go this route?

Thanks in advance.

@xterraography just put a set on sometime in the past year. I don't think he's had any issues at all. But being PRG, if they're in stock and available you'll get them, but if it's a special order, be prepared for the possibility you may never get them at all, or not hearing anything for several months.

What's the benefit to them if they just create more vibration?
I've heard that they're stronger and last longer since they're polyurethane and not oil filled rubber mounts. They're also a fraction of the cost of going OEM. Trying to test the waters here and see what other members think of the poly mounts. Might just go OEM if they're turn around time is too long for the mounts.

I just did mounts. If you can get Greg's mounts, they might last longer. But you can get OE mounts in 2 days from online dealers.

Some solid advice, do some serious research on PRG before ever handing over money. Lots of issues recently have come to light. I’ve used them before and did get what I ordered but it appears to have gotten worse since then and I personally won’t use them again. But YMMV

I have the motor mounts, I bought from 4x4parts.com, but pretty sure it’s still Greg that made them. I don’t notice any extra crazy vibrations, but I do have a manual so the trans is disengaged at stop/idle.

Wish I would have seen this post sooner. I definitely recommend that people avoid using PRG products in the future. Greg is a liar and a thief. He's had quite a few complaints filed against him with the BBB just this year. I placed an order for the motor mounts and the order kept getting pushed back. It finally came down to a point where I needed to get this job done soon, and the mounts were still not back from fabrication. I told Greg that I needed to cancel the order due to time restraints, he replied back and said, "Ok, I'll get it refunded". Well, he didn't refund my money and he still shipped the mounts that I no longer needed. He also won't reply to any of my e-mails. So there's my story/warning to you guys on Greg and his customer service skills.
