Finally have all I need to do the swap (I think). Those of you who have done this please chime in and tell me if you think I'm missing anything. I will be putting anti-seize grease on all bolt threads.

1.) Titan M205
2.) Titan CV Halfshafts x2
3.) Titan Upper control arms x2
4.) Titan Lower Control Arms x2
5.) (12) M205 Halfshaft Flange bolts/nuts
6.) (3) 19mm Diff/Frame Bolts. Nuts for two of these.
7.) (8) 14mm new front DS bolts/nuts
8.) (2) new 32mm halfaxle/hub nuts
9.) 3 quarts of 80W-90 or 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil (2 Not pictured)
10.) PRG tie rod extensions
11.) 1" Spacers (may or may not use)

Thanks to Rook for compiling this list!

Any tips or suggestions as to what will make this easier, or problems/solutions you found along the way - please chime in! Thanks in advance!

oz buddy! everything looks great. there are only a few things i would add. first, antisieze for the cam bolts and suspension bolts. it will make it easier to adjust, service those parts later on. secondly, i would make sure you have new pins for the halfaxles if the new ones didnt come with a castle ring and pin. when youbtake hose pins out they can get mangled and hard to reuse. other than that it looks great!!! good luck on your swap. (i would have mentioned you need extended brake lines...but i assume you already run them.. lol. ;) )

I haven't done any reading on this sawp till now but what is the advantages of doing this swap?

Biggest two benefits are a stronger front diff and added wheel travel (compression and droop). A lot of people comment on how greatly the ride is improved as well.

From TNX:
v. Titan Suspension Swap
a. What it is and How it works: Replaces your Xterra's front suspension with a Nissan Titans'. This is a bolt on upgrade. Because the arms of the suspension components are longer this gives you more travel. All of the above lift methods can be used in conjunction with a Titan swap to further increase travel and/or lift. Doing this will also make your front tire width or stance approximately 3" wider on each side or 6" total.
b. Lift amount: ~3 to 4 inches or more if used in conjunction with drop spindles
c. Pros: More travel, currently(11/04/09) more lift options for Titans than Xterras, allows for stronger Front Differential (M205), M205 gearing can match E-locking Rear Axle without regearing, M205 ARB and 4.10/4.56 gears rumored to be in development (until I can actually order or pre-order it I consider it a rumor), Wider stance gives you more stability especially with higher lifts
d. Cons: Probably voids power train warranty for 4WD. Wider stance may prevent you from going on some narrower trails. With stock rims, the front tires will protrude out past the stock fenders which is technically illegal on the road in at least some areas. Aftermarket fenders or fender flares can remedy this.

PRG Greg says you'll get 9.5" travel in front

M205 Titan dif is considerably larger

SO after 4 years and 45+K miles this is the only things we found that needs replacing. Wallered out spherical bearing and mangled lower coil over bolt:

Just finished the swap yesterday. Went really smoothly but did have a couple hiccups.

1st issue: Stuck bolt; lower coilover bolt on passenger side. BUT it was due to this:

45K+ miles and four years took its toll on this. The spherical bearing inside the race was completely wallered out and then proceeded to mangle the bolt. We replaced both side and the driver side was looking bad too. $23 to replace bearings, washers, spacers and bolts.

Issue 2: Because of the additional travel and new outboard position of the spindle the front ABS lines needed to be lengthened. This was done by bypassing the connector and hard-wiring an additional 12" of wire to both side. I think the 3" BL exasperated having to lengthened the ABS wires as most TS wont need to do this. Worked like a charm, no dash lights.

Issue 3 Not really an issue, just a surprise that was figured out by a quick phone call to Rook. Did a little test drive when all was put back together. Steering wheel wasn't centered do to hastily throwing the tie rod extensions on. Well I guess there's a steering wheel sensor that was telling the VDC that I was turning even though I was actually driving straight. The Slip light was coming on and trying to brake the 'spinning' wheel; after a bit it figured out something was amiss and the VDC turned itself off. We then did a garage alignment using a sharpie and measuring tape and it worked great.

I'll say this: a Titan Swap is a great thing. Of course many of you already knew this.
