Power socket work (Broken ring collar)

After finding a broken cap on the one below the dash, thought i would post my experience with the fix. Talk about a over thought out piece! I did the research and got into it. Nothing i had here, various picks etc could remove the socket. After looking at advanced auto parts, they had the tool! Doorman (HELP) section. #56457 Lighter & socket tool. If your working on these, BUY THE TOOL! Took all of 5 seconds to pull the socket without damage. On to the broken ring collar. As luck would have it, my nissan stocked it. # 25339XV60A1969A Ring-collar. Put everything back together. Done. Did the cabin filters also. Hope this info helps someone working on power sockets.
