I love the Dephep roof rack I got. I drove to his place and picked it up.

Hey man, that's what Tony and I are talking about right now. How did you end up measuring for the rack? It seems like the measurements I gave him will cause some problems with the clamps near the rack boots.

I think I measured the width. The one thing I did though, was take off the Nissan basket. Tony can make an extension that bolts on to the rear of the Dephep rack if you want the extra length. I didn't find it necessary. The clamps work just fine then.

I have to say this thing is killer. The build quality is second to none. The welds are all smooth. Nice and clean. Its all most ready to paint at delivery just a nice wipe down and ready to go.

Jack did you decide to take off the basket and how much longer did you want it if you do?

Got my rack today. Thanks bro! Looks good. Took it to a local Line-X (Lynnwood, WA). $150 for the rack and brackets to be sprayed. I think I'll replace the bolts w/ stainless though. Thanks for the sticker too...

Yeah that works. Had to drill holes after it was sprayed. Didn't even look at the hardware until I went to mount it. I live in WA so basically it's rusting daily. I have picts. of it before being sprayed if you'd like to see... Thanks for the quick response. That makes good business, unfortunately it didn't work out this time.

No problem Jake, sure am sorry this happened but I bet it never does again, I think I must have been getting to cocky with the builds, this will make a guy take a second look before product goes out the door. thanks Jake.

I ordered one from him - going to pick it up at the GLX run. I know he's made them for a few 1st Gens before (ChiXterra and possibly Prime?), but I don't know if they're going to stay a custom build, or if they're going to become a standard item like the 2nd Gen.

Heck yea I make them for first gens, standard is pretty much turning out to be 40" so it fits before the back curve and after the front plastic. making a few fronty racks recently too, first and second. Real busy now but things slowing down a bit after the tax time thing I think.

I LOVE the expanded metal floor! I'm gonna have to do that to mine before I take it to powder coat.
